The team in Munich developed a method to isolate proteins from FFPE samples, using our liquid handling robot epMotion. These potential tumor tissue samples from surgery are processed for identification of abnormal signaling proteins as biomarkers.

Shown is the work of the Pathology lab in Hospital rechts der Isar - Institute of Pathology, Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany, who is the second winner of the World of epMotion user contest. The epMotion fits perfectly in the workflow because: (1) it guaranties accurate and reproducible pipetting of protein lysate dilutions curves; (2) it is very flexible and can pipette even complex patterns in 384 well plates compatible to a large number of different robotic spotting systems; (4) it is a robust device; (5) it is time saving and supports the automation of the entire workflow.
